In her studio, Mary Burns is weaving a new project on her TC-2 Jacquard Loom. The weaving program is creating different shades using only 3 threads : a black yarn for the warp and a sepia yarn for the weft, made from two yarns (one off-white and one beige) wound together to make one single, sepia thread.
